Responsible Delivery

The Digital Business has been engaged for several years in determining the policies and approach to delivering new forms of digital content and services in a responsible way. Angus Cormie, founder of Responsible Deliverythe business, participated in the small group of UK network operator representatives who created and published the UK Code of Practice for the self-regulation of new forms of content on mobile phones.

We have also actively researched the market around marketing new digital services to children and families, and the understand the issues and potential solutions.

It should also be noted that "responsible delivery" covers many different topics in the digital media field, such as;

  • Delivering dating, adult, chat, location-based, and other new services through new digital media formats in a way that protects the vulnerable from access to inappropriate 18+ content.

  • Delivery of services in a way that protects the vulnerable from inappropriate, and potentially dangerous, contact.

  • Responsible marketing of services to protect the vulnerable from inappropriate premium charging and spam via their digital media devices.

  • Enabling "access control" to services using the best possible social standards of age and identity management.

The Digital Business can help you navigate through all these issues.

Finally, we also believes very strongly in the empowerment that digital media can bring to children and disadvantaged members of society. We believe that enabling access to the right kind of services can stimulate new opportunities for cognitive development, and can enable much improved community and family engagement through the interactivity that comes with this kind of media.
